The Lumag RAMBO HC15 Petrol Wood Chipper

Our engineers will spend around an hour and a half building the machine, setting up the blades, adjusting the belts and setting the engine speed. The machine will be filled with oil, ASPEN Fuel and the grease points lubricated. Aside from fitting the intake hopper the machine will be delivered read to use. Powerful 420cc Electric Start Engine
The Lumag RAMBO HC15 Wood Chipper features a powerful and reliable Ducar 420cc 4-stroke OHV petrol engine. With 15HP of power, it handles demanding chipping tasks with ease.
In addition, the electric start system makes starting quick and effortless. As a result, you can get to work faster and spend more time chipping.
Efficient Duplex Drum Chipping System
The RAMBO HC15 uses a duplex drum chipping system driven by a robust twin-belt drive. The drum contains two chipping blades and a counter blade. As the drum rotates, it cuts material efficiently against the counter blade.
When the cutting edges become worn, you can rotate the blades and continue working. Consequently, you extend blade life and reduce maintenance costs.
Portable Chassis with Tow Bar
Lumag designed the RAMBO HC15 for easy movement around your property. Large pneumatic tyres provide excellent manoeuvrability, while the integrated handles make repositioning simple.
Furthermore, the machine includes a practical tow bar for easier transport around larger gardens and estates. However, the tow bar is not suitable for road towing.
Large Hopper and Swivel Discharge Chute
The large feed hopper accepts awkward and uneven branches with minimal preparation. Therefore, you spend less time cutting material before feeding it into the machine.
Like all wood chippers, occasional blockages can occur. However, Lumag makes clearing them quick and straightforward. Simply remove two nuts to open the hinged hopper and gain easy access to the chipping area.
In addition, the 360° swivel discharge chute allows you to direct wood chips precisely where you need them. As a result, you can keep your work area cleaner and work more efficiently.
Ideal Applications
The Lumag RAMBO HC15 is ideal for processing branches up to 120mm in diameter. However, material at maximum capacity requires slower feeding and takes longer to process.
For continuous operation, the machine performs best with branches between 90mm and 100mm in diameter (approximately 4 inches). Consequently, you achieve smoother feeding and improved productivity.
This machine is a dedicated wood chipper rather than a chipper shredder. Therefore, it processes woody shrubs and leafy branches very effectively.
However, it is not suitable for processing large quantities of green waste, such as leaves, on their own.
Additional Features
Alongside its powerful Ducar engine and swivel discharge chute, the RAMBO HC15 includes an integrated hour meter. This feature helps you monitor operating time and plan routine maintenance.
Furthermore, Lumag supplies the machine with a protective cover as standard. Consequently, you can keep the chipper protected when it is not in use.
