Efficient Chipping System

The DC9 uses a duplex drum chipping system powered by a twin belt drive. Two durable blades work with a counter blade to chip branches efficiently.

As the drum rotates, the blades cut material against the counter blade. When the cutting edges become worn, simply rotate the blades to extend their working life.

Furthermore, the drum design helps maintain smooth and reliable material processing throughout the chipping operation.

Easy to Transport

Outland designed the DC9 for easy manoeuvrability. Large pneumatic tyres allow smooth movement across lawns, paths, and uneven ground.

In addition, practical handles on the intake hopper make it simple to tilt and move the machine around your property.

Large Hopper for Simple Feeding

The large intake hopper accepts awkward or uneven branches with minimal preparation. Therefore, you can spend less time cutting material into smaller sections.

Although occasional blockages can occur, clearing them is quick and straightforward. Simply remove two nuts and hinge the hopper open for improved access.

Ideal for Garden Waste

The DC9 is ideal for processing branches, woody shrubs, and pruning waste. It can handle material up to 100mm in diameter.

However, continuous processing is most effective with material between 60mm and 80mm. While the machine can chip larger branches, productivity naturally slows when working near maximum capacity.

This model is a dedicated wood chipper rather than a chipper shredder. Consequently, it performs best with woody material and leafy branches. It is not designed for processing green waste or leaves on their own.
