The Outland Tools DC15 Wood Chipper features a powerful and reliable RATO 420cc 4-stroke OHV petrol engine. With 15HP on tap, it delivers excellent performance for demanding chipping tasks.

In addition, the electric start system makes operation quick and convenient. The engine starts easily and provides dependable performance throughout the year.

High-Performance Chipping System

The DC15 uses a duplex drum chipping system driven by a heavy-duty twin-belt drive. The drum contains two chipping blades and a counter blade. As the drum rotates, it chips material efficiently and consistently.

When the cutting edges become worn, you can rotate the blades to extend their service life. As a result, maintenance costs stay lower and productivity remains high.

The DC15 also features an extra-large chipping drum. Consequently, the drum stores more kinetic energy and transfers greater force into the material being processed.

Furthermore, the larger drum handles a greater volume of material than the DC12. Therefore, the DC15 delivers significantly higher productivity when tackling larger workloads.

Strong and Mobile Chassis

Outland Tools designed the DC15 for easy transport around your property. Large pneumatic tyres provide excellent manoeuvrability, while the integrated handles allow you to tilt and move the machine with ease.

As a result, you can quickly position the chipper wherever you need it.

Large Feed Hopper and Easy Maintenance

The large feed hopper accepts awkward and uneven branches with minimal preparation. Therefore, you spend less time cutting material before feeding it into the machine.

Like all wood chippers, occasional blockages can occur. However, clearing them is straightforward. Simply remove two nuts to open the hinged feed hopper or discharge chute and gain quick access to the chipping chamber.

Consequently, you can clear blockages quickly and return to work with minimal downtime.

Ideal Applications

The Outland Tools DC15 is ideal for processing branches up to 150mm in diameter. However, material at maximum capacity requires slower feeding speeds.

If you regularly process material around 150mm, you may wish to consider a larger machine. For continuous operation, we find the DC15 performs best with branches between 100mm and 120mm in diameter.

This model is a dedicated wood chipper rather than a chipper shredder. Therefore, it handles woody shrubs and leafy branches very effectively.

However, it is not suitable for processing large quantities of green waste, such as leaves, on their own.
